The basic building block of this ongoing project “celestials” (Fukuoka, Japan) is the creation of a reduced model of the world consisting of two opposing views, bipolarity. Society, not only in Slovakia, but also in other parts of the world (Japan for example), is going through the problem of barricades and strict ideological ideas about functioning and future order. They are moving towards a gradual rejection of communication, contact, they separate from each other, divide, become alienated, frictions and conflicts arise between them, they close themselves into their safe bubbles. This leads to a collective loss, society has difficulty functioning as a whole and is fragmenting into microworlds. Formally, the work is done with unanchored, hanging embroidered textile objects, abstracted into gestures of approach, embrace, snuggle - of approaching and connecting into larger and stronger wholes. The textile objects are embroidered and capture shine, reflection of light, pearl, jewel, imaginary wealth - both mental and cultural. Abstraction of human beings into building blocks of transhuman transformation, as not fitting in, looking for a new place, their safe bubble, floating somewhere in the "in-between" - belonging neither here nor there, but always in an effort to move to a better place. These fragile, soft, radiant objects of upliftment are set into a cold, motionless, bold static architecture, which itself has difficulty responding in time to social changes. At the same time, they are accompanied by “those who remained, who did not change - did not transform, or failed so - who remained in their well-worn ruts.” (work in progress 2026 +)
