Obake

Obake is uncertainty. Obake is at your home and you never know when and where it will
get to you. You have created your safe place, where after a day spent outside
you lock your door and fill the space with your favorite environment.
Obake is a spirit that will pass through walls, peek through a drawn curtain and disrupt your place, which you have worked so hard to put together for several months or years.
Obake reminds you that a safe place is an illusion and your escapism will not last forever.
Obake counts down the day by day when your illusion will dissolve. The walls of your
“house” are shaking, where something is rustling, something is flickering. An inexplicable breeze is passing through the space, even though you have closed the windows and doors - obake lets you know that it is still with you and has you in its sights.
Obake is the question of whether a safe today will also be a safe tomorrow.
Obake is the war in a neighboring country.
Obake is the decay of humanist ideas.
Obake is the leaning towards the far right.
Obake is fear.
